Benjamin Niedner is an investor and former McKinsey project leader with 6 years experience serving clients up to C-Suite and board level. 

As a Venture Partner at VU Venture Partners (benchmarked as a ~97% top performing fund, 72% IRR) and at a Fortune 500 corporate venture accelerator, he sourced and screened thousands of early-stage companies and led due diligence end-to-end on deals from pre-seed stage up to Series B.

He also led due diligence for leading private equity funds on deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars cumulatively. 

Benjamin holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Oxford University. He was awarded multiple scholarships from Germany's largest, oldest and most prestigious scholarship foundation, the UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and is an honorary member of the German Physical Society.

He also completed McKinsey's mini-MBA course with faculty from Harvard, Kellogg, Wharton and Columbia.
